THE QUESTION WE GET ALL THE TIME
SO… DID WE MEET AT DISNEY?
The answer? Nope! Well... not intentionally. 😄
We both spent part of our lives working at Walt Disney World, at different times and on completely different Disney journeys. Our paths wouldn’t officially cross until later.
But as the song says, “It’s a small world after all.” 🌎
Somehow, two former Disney Cast Members eventually found each other, discovered a shared love of Disney and travel, and started writing a completely different adventure together.
But First, here's where our two Disney Stories began....
Two Different Disney Journeys
Long before Great 2Morrow Travel, we each had our own adventure with the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Brian's Disney Story
Brian spent seven years as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World, beginning his journey at the Food & Fun Center at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Shortly after Disney's Animal Kingdom opened, he moved to Dinoland U.S.A., where he worked at The Dino Dig, Tarzan Rocks!, Primeval Whirl, and DINOSAUR, which longtime Disney fans may remember as Countdown to Extinction.
His Disney journey later took him to DisneyQuest before bringing him back to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Kilimanjaro Safaris. It was at the Safari that Brian finished his seven-year Disney career before moving to Indiana and beginning a new chapter.
Those years gave Brian a lasting connection to Disney and an appreciation for how the little details of an experience often become the memories people carry home.
Mary Beth has loved Disney for as long as she can remember. How much? She was the high school senior who ditched her family during the 3 o’clock parade just so she could stand in line to meet Winnie the Pooh. Priorities! 🍯🐻
That lifelong love led her to the Walt Disney World College Program, where she became a proud Space Cadet at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Magic Kingdom.
When her College Program adventure ended, her Disney journey continued as a Campus Representative, where she shared her experience and helped recruit other college students for the opportunity to experience Disney for themselves.
Along the way, she even added a Mouseteers and a Ducktorate to her Disney résumé, which still makes for a pretty good conversation starter!
Some of her favorite memories came from simply experiencing Disney every day for months, especially celebrating New Year’s Eve at Magic Kingdom with fireworks lighting up the sky all around the park.

Our Stories Eventually Came Together
Our Disney journeys happened separately, but apparently the world really is smaller than we thought.
When our paths eventually crossed, we discovered that Disney wasn't the only thing we had in common.
We shared a love of travel, exploring new places, and making memories together.
And yes, Disney found its way right back into our story.
